Coaster Collection - Superman: Ultimate Flight

The Ride
Six Flags has created many coasters with superman for the name. When the coaster opened many people thought the coaster deserved the name Superman. Well now Six Flags over Georgia has a coaster that is suitable to keep the Superman name. Superman Ultimate Flight will be the first coaster in the southeast to "fly" riders around the track. That's right SFoG turned to B&M to develop this ride. The coaster also contains the new "pretzel loop." This is B&M's next step towards the future.

The Experience
The ride starts much like X-Flight and Batwing do. You board the cars which then round a 90 degree curve and start up the 15 story lift hill. The cars recline and riders get the first feeling of being Superman. The ride dives down the 100 foot drop and soars close to the ground of Georgia. The ride enters the Pretzel Loop and climbs to 76 feet before diving downward again. The ride makes a final turn, rolls upright, and hits the last brake run before the station.
