The Ride
Talon grips fear at Dorney Park. Talon, inspired by Great Bear at Hershey Park and Raptor at Cedar Point is Dorney's first inverted coaster and now holds most of the records for the northeast. Talon fits nicely in Dorney between the main entrance midway and the Wildwater Kingdom waterpark. Talon really has a grip on fear at Dorney Park.
The Experience
As you enter the queve line you can see the orange and yellow track looming in the distance. Once you reach the station you board one of the 32 passenger inverted coaster trains and the ride takes flight up the lift hill. Once it reaches the top of the 14 story lift hill it starts it's descent down the 120 foot drop. At the bottom the trains climb through a vertical loop and into a zero g roll. The train whizzes toward the anticipated incline loop. As you exit you go into the last treat from Talon, through an s turn and into a flatspin. You speed through a helix and hit the final brake run. Talon keeps you pressed into you seats, literally.
