Coaster Collection - Batman Knight Flight

The Ride
In 2000 B&M was contacted by Six Flags Worlds of Adventure to build a new floorless coaster. B&M didn't fool around and Batman Knight Flight was born. Batman Knight Flight is the longest floorless coasters around.  With over 4,000 feet of track this yellow and purple coaster stands next to Geagua Lake. When B&M constructed this coaster, they threw all the basic elements for a floorless coaster out the window and make a completely unique, twisted layout. The coater inverts you five times. The final "twisted" elements site right next to the lake, making this coaster an impressive coaster when view from the wildlife side of the park.

The Experience
Riders wait in the queue line that lies right beneath the cobra roll. As the riders get closer to the station, trains fly by them at high speeds. Riders board the floorless, 4-seater trains and the floor beneath their feet retracts. Then it's around a quick S-turn and then a U-turn, that connects the track to the lift hill. Riders climb 157 feet above the Ohio soil and then it's a quick dip off the chain and away they go. The track banks slightly and then the train goes through a 135 foot vertical loop. Riders don't have a chance to catch their breath because right after the loop it's through a giant cobra roll. After that the train hit a quick breaking station parallel to the lift hill. The drop of the brake sends the trains through a pair of interlocking corkscrews and into a high banked turn, right into another corkscrew. Then the final helix spins riders, 360 degrees around and over the lake. The train rolls into the final break run and into the station.
