The Ride
Many wondered why with all the Batman character names being used for coasters, why hadn't Mr. Freeze been chosen yet. Well in 1998 Six Flags over Texas opened Mr. Freeze. The tallest, fastest, and longest shuttle looper around. The coaster also implied a unique station house where two tracks could be switched with an ingenius forking transfer.
The Experience
Once riders board one of the Premier trains, the fine tuning that delayed this ride pays off. Riders are launched down a 190 foot tunnel and into the sunlight. There they go through one of the rarest maneuvers in a coaster. The tophat. Riders find themselves pointing skywards and then downwards towards the ground. Then it's through a banked turn and up a 90 degree 225 hill. The trains slow down and does the whole thing in reverse. Then it's into the brake run for the end to a great ride.
