The Ride
In 1986 Vekoma, a small coaster company made it big when they built the Boomerang. The Boomerang took riders on a circuit of 3 inversions both forwards and backwards. Vekoma never forgot the reason they became successful and decided to make their original Boomerang a little bit better, so they built the Invertigo. It was the same as the Boomerang, but for one little difference. The track was inverted. The coaster was also taller and faster than the Boomerang. Riders are seated in face to face cars and the fun begins.
The Experience
Riders board the 32 passenger cars and decide which side of the face to face cars they want to sit in. After they decide the cars a pulled to the peak of the 137 foot hill and then dropped. They whiz through the station and through the cobra roll. Then through the vertical loop. The trains then engage to the second lift hill and are pulled to the top of the 14 story hill, where they do the whole ride in reverse. The trains goes back through the station and up the first hill where the brakes engage and let the train roll slowly back into the station.
