Coaster Collection - Georgia Scorcher

The Ride
In 1999 a small plot of land that was occupied by a waterslide complex, was transformed into a scorching inferno. SFoG contacted B&M to build there newest attraction. The Georgia Scorcher was created, proving that you don't need a lot of room to build an inversion packed coaster. This stand-up coaster is 3,000 feet long and turns riders head-over-heels a total of two times. This orange and marron monster makes it's home in SFoG Georgia section. Georgia Scorcher makes all riders "put their feet to the fire."

The Experience
Riders board one of two B&M stand-up trains. After they adjust the seats to their height and secure the over-the-shoulder restraint, the train departs the station. Riders reach the top of the 10 story summit and make a slight dip to start off. Then it's a plummet down a 10 story drop into a vertical loop. The trains make a quick u-curve with an s-curve that takes the train back through the vertical loop. The train curves up an upward banked hill and through the rides final inversion, the corkscrew. The train finds it's way back around the lift and into a carousel curve. The banking changes once again and the train climbs a hill onto the brake run. A u-turn ends the ride.
